Yeah, repetitiveness of spoken dialog is generally not a good thing.

Actually, though, this sparks an odd thought: a game in which your character keeps up a constantly running monologue, which also references visible places and objects and people and occurrences.

I know of games that have done this to a very minor degree (one of them, oddly, being Redneck Rampage). But I don't know of any game that's tried to really emphasize it.

Any examples?
