Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master.

Re: Short (Short!) Fiction Contest
Contest 7 is really hard. I can't get beyond a Q episode.
Until last night.
Last night saw the arrival of the Andoran. Game player of godlike powers. And Kyle Pontain, arrogant human. Ohhh. Much too arrogant.
The Andoran was challenged.
The game began.
And then I dried up and went to bed.
In the middle of the night I knew what the story was. I awoke with a smile. In mythology, a man is hung from a tree for days gaining knowledge through agony. Just swap hanging from a tree with playing a game.
Perfection. Simple. Elegant.
Now. Now I'm fully awake. And sadly, I have no idea what the hell my subconscious was trying to tell me.
One thing though, I'm sure it would have been fantastic.
Oh well back to meeting one of the R continuum and the evil Blorg.

Re: Short (Short!) Fiction Contest
Alright, another contest story up. I noticed that my "F*ck" in my story was being corrected to "Frak" by what I assume is a bad words filter. I it possible stop the autocorrection in the creative writing section? It's creative writing after all.

Re: Short (Short!) Fiction Contest
Posted up an entry, but I'm not really happy with it, to say that it falls somewhat from the brief might be a little charitable. I just went blank at the prompt.

Re: Short (Short!) Fiction Contest
To be honest, the prompt was inspired by a Farscape quote.
Anyhow, that's it for entries. Poll is up, let the voting commence!

Re: Short (Short!) Fiction Contest
I took this one out. And it was a "lacking the time" thing, not "and in the seventh day, God rested" thing.
But I'll vote in the next few minutes. Good work guys!

Re: Short (Short!) Fiction Contest
I actually liked the topic. A bit difficult to come up with something coherent, though; this theme falls closer to speculative philosophy. Or incredibly stupid comic books, depending on how you do it. I liked the entries
