In unrelated news, I finally got to see the International Space Station for the first time. I used NASA's nifty SpotTheStation page to see when it would be overhead, and it did not disappoint -- a slow-moving, bright, non-blinking light across the sky.
Next time I'll have my binoculars....

<swoon> Man, I love the Grand Design galaxies. Almost as much as I love globular clusters.
