So I bit the bullet and bought a Mavic Pro drone today on Amazon prime.
All in all, a good purchase, as I saved myself €1,000 if July 11th wasn't their discount day :)
So hopefully, I'll be able to show you the beautiful side of where I live :)
When you get it, you gotta show it! :D

Got what has to be one of the weirder and scarier results from a doctor.

Back story:
The last 2 months and a bit I have been in almost constant pain from my shoulder
After a month I decided, sod it, and went to a doc and got sent for a sonar which revealed . . . . nothing. Except that I have an almost unusually health shoulder according to the specialist
Got some pain meds at least.
Now I don't yet have medical so going back to the doc just for an "I don't know" and being sent for another test was not exactly a priority.
My cousin heard of the issue and came over to see if she could feel something since she is trained as a masseuse.
So she found a tight muscle spasm which was promptly blamed but after 3 sessions she had to call it quits since it was clearly not working.

And then my brother recommended I go see a chiropractor.
one 30 min visit later including a small neck X-Ray and the problem was found.
Turns out that at one point earlier in life I suffered severe neck trauma, as in, fractured vertebrates. :wtf: :-?
Some are still misshapen, some small splinters can be seen, my neck is compacted and the normal curve is also gone.
This off course has now gotten inflammation and is causing all my pain.

So now the actual root cause has been found and after 3 treatments (had the second one this morning) I should be almost pain free!! :D :D
Though it could take a year or so to get my neck back into a normal shape

The only event anyone can think of that could have caused such damage happened when 4 year old me discovered that tossing an iron rod into the air is a terribly bad idea. :monkey:

Woah, Prack! All I get are itches and cramps.

Glad you figured out the cause, and are getting the required attention to fix it. :)

I am Groot.
Please don't take my advice. You will wind up in jail if you do.
For some reason, I feel obliged to display how many people have talked in IRC over the past 2 hours: Image :problem:

Oh yeah, my wife has an injured disc in her back. When that gets bad she gets a really sore leg.
The body is stupid as hell. And it took her 8 years or so to finally get a doctor who knew enough to resolve it (or at least give her exercises that keeps it from getting too bad)
