Hang on. You may be on to something here. If you have a missile jammer that affects the guidance systems of all missiles, even your own, it suddenly gives you a legitimate reason to use unguided missiles.Gazz wrote:Because it does the same to your ship when you fire it. =P
Unguided ones can be dodged, while the guided ones can be turned into their more primitive counterparts by an EMP. Also, if you're jamming missiles instead of EMPing them, you run the risk of them reacquiring their targets when/if you stop jamming. I also like the concept of shooting missiles out of the sky, but collision detection is already a big enough headache.
