Liked the old back better. Can't say for the old front, as I can't currently see that (it just says "image"), but I liked the old back better because of the lack of a border. It came off as just a simpler, cleaner design. Beyond that, the front looks great, and the cards look great in general.
I have a series of game rules, based on a standard deck of cards.
What Cards Do
Joker (anomaly): Flip a coin; if heads, all ships destroyed. If tails, all ships swapped with other side.
Ace (Warhead): Destroy a ship.
Numbers (ships): create a ship with those numbers, for example, with a three, you could make a 2 attack / 1 health or a 1 attack / 2 health.
Jack (missile bombardment): Roll a die; Deal the damage of one of your ships to that number of enemy ships.
Queen (upgrade): Give a ship +3 stats.
King (Dreadnought): deploy fifteen stats worth of ship(s) on the battlefield.
Generic Rules
You can take three actions per turn, and draw one card every turn.
Someone wins when The enemy base is destroyed. The base has twenty health and can only be attacked when the enemy side has no ships.
Whaddaya think?
Destruction is never precise, Creation is a thought, Time is an illusion, and Chaos and Order are one and the same.
