Found it on reddit. It's a fun read. Thought I'd share it with you all.
Terrain generation, tectonic plates, weather etc. seems like crazy-heavy-lifting-computation. Is that feasible with current hardware?
I wonder how far down the reality road Josh actually implemented his beautiful planets, and how long they take to load when coming in from a wormhole.

I've seen that just a week or two ago.
Im pretty sure this is already somewhere here in the forum
Considering that it runs in javascript as a brower plugin it cant be that heavy on processing power
From what i remember josh is pretty much done with the space view of planets.
And the view from ground needs completely different approaches on this
