Please ignore this thread... apparently Limit Theory is not yet notable enough to have it's own Wikipedia page.

This would have increased the amount of search engines indexing to the site and thus increased the webpages visibility.

Let's see how long it survives before being deleted due to lack of notability.

You might try adding Limit Theory to the Procedural Generation article instead of creating an article just on LT. It should qualify as an appropriate Software Example for the space sim category. Just be sure to cite Limit Theory's website properly so it doesn't get tagged 'citation needed'!

We had a lot of trouble putting Oolite on Wikipedia, and it was a finished game that had existed for several years at the time. Still the article was marked for deletion because of lack of notability. The only formal argument that saved it from being axed was that there were some mentions in non-obscure computer magazines (the "Critical reception and reviews" part), and even then the decision was far from unanimously.

Limit Theory doesn't even exist yet… And if the WP policy and standards are still the same, it will need to make a major impact upon release in order to be considered notable.

Well, with 10k views on some of the dev logs and lots of attention from RPS and other gaming websites, I'm sure LT will make quite the splash. Its also likely to do well because of Steam.

With luck, initial sales can drive LT to the top of the lists on Steam.
