Ah, I assumed this:
Finally I stroll back to the entrance of the nacelle and see if someone wants to go exploring with me now.
meant to go inside. My mistake. Fortunately, no harm done :P

Yeah, in retrospect it looks like that, but I wrote it before Bob so nobody was actually going to go inside, so it was more intended to be "stand around bored"
But the current events are a lot more interesting, so no complaints :D

[13:02:01] <Dinosawer> i.e. how long can I do the party trick of making a bulb light up by holding it
is very different from
Then I use my electro amp to power the lights in the room.

Lighting a handful of bulbs on the same electrical circuit is very different from lighting one?
*physicsawer is confused*

Physicsvieno would like to point out that you are pouring electricity into the entire nacelle's electrical power grid. The nacelle is quite dissimilar to a light bulb.

:eh: No I'm not, I'm pouring electricity into the small grid that powers just the ceiling lights only in the room we're in. That's not trying to power the entire nacelle or something, those are different circuits, that's why light buttons work :P

Edit: in fact, as long as the required energy isn't a problem (which I don't think it should be, they're a couple of lamps) it should be easier to make the entire circuit light up than just 1 light, since electricity will naturally just flow throughout the circuit loop, whereas lighting 1 lamp would require trickery to make a smaller loop somehow

[Sidenote: and this is why I don't do as Naed says and assume things instead of asking you stuff :ghost: ]

I'm going to take this to PM. Seems like the wise thing to do in this instance.

Misunderstandings in both directions resolved and turn actions adapted :)

Ok. I just skimmed over some parts...darn, i feel dumb now. And „oh hell, thatˋs all kinds of bad.“

Well played, building:V

I wasn't trying to make you feel dumb. :D Rather, I was just trying to make it funny.

You managed that quite well.

*Frank attempts to shoot building* It's not very effective.
*Building uses counter*
~please stand by while collateral damages and general 'uh oh' values are calculated!~

I'm assuming my character is skilled enough in Unconventional to know this:

Is it a stupid/dangerous idea to be firing the gravgun in such a small space like this building we're in is?

Nope. Totally safe, as long as there aren't friendlies in your line of fire (don't stand in the back) and you don't make it explode close by (don't shoot at a wall). Also, would be good not to get a bad roll. :D

Alright, was just asking to check and see if this was one of those things that turn out to be a terrible idea even with a good roll.
