Well these probably need a good deal of polish but here's a simple proof of concept.

I'm back and I've brought some more cards with me. Thoughts and suggestions are welcome.

Liked the old back better. Can't say for the old front, as I can't currently see that (it just says "image"), but I liked the old back better because of the lack of a border. It came off as just a simpler, cleaner design. Beyond that, the front looks great, and the cards look great in general.
I have a series of game rules, based on a standard deck of cards.

What Cards Do
Spoiler:      SHOW
Joker (anomaly): Flip a coin; if heads, all ships destroyed. If tails, all ships swapped with other side.
Ace (Warhead): Destroy a ship.
Numbers (ships): create a ship with those numbers, for example, with a three, you could make a 2 attack / 1 health or a 1 attack / 2 health.
Jack (missile bombardment): Roll a die; Deal the damage of one of your ships to that number of enemy ships.
Queen (upgrade): Give a ship +3 stats.
King (Dreadnought): deploy fifteen stats worth of ship(s) on the battlefield.
Generic Rules
Spoiler:      SHOW
You can take three actions per turn, and draw one card every turn.
Someone wins when The enemy base is destroyed. The base has twenty health and can only be attacked when the enemy side has no ships.
Whaddaya think?

I like them BFett, the border on the back might be a little thick though.
The Blue glow might need to be lighter too.

Seryth Nortra I will likely need help finding pictures that go along with what you describe for the face cards. I originally thought of using LT ships for some of the face cards but I do like your ideas. I removed the original face card because it was ugly and poorly made.

The boarder is easy to remove or change. If you like the original boarder feel free to download it and use it for the game. I'll continue work on the cards. Silverware, the blue glow is somewhat difficult to modify since I have to match it up with the lines, numbers, and the spade/club logos. If you provide a hex value of the color you want I may be able to quickly make the changes.

I'm glad to hear that you both seem to like the cards.

Got it. Should it be concept art or the product of 3d modeling or something else I haven't thought of? I can have it on this thread by later today (in my time zone, at least).

Edit: Nevermind, I'll just include a bunch of pictures for aces and kings and such which might be useful in a subsequent edit.

That sounds good. Images from the LT videos would be nice to work from first. There's no rush as I only have the 4 cards complete at the moment. (I do need to see about making that hex color edit as well.)

LT videos... right... I was just going to look around the web for good concept art and stuff, but I can do the LT videos. It'll take a while, though, and no promises about the quality of the pictures, though I'll do my best. It'll take a while, but I can get it to you.
