Re: Most Desired Non-Features of Limit Theory

I wanted to select all of them...except playing as a crew member on a ship. But was forced to pick 3...so boarding ships, planet transitions and planet flight :p I did pick the player avatar (because I assumed it meant ship interiors and stuff) but I really liked my days playing Rogue Squadron and having space battles on a planet surface.

My three are:
  • - Space-to-planet transition
    - Planets orbiting stars
    - Moons orbiting planets
Space transitions seem to be the new tech, and it would be cool to not have a loading screen (maybe imposters is the way to go here?).

The rest is little things, but which could mean the layout of warpgates is crucial to ensure they don't get swallowed up by a moving Sun (I'm also thinking Stargate (and the beautiful Sam Carter) here).

It could also be useful to map out the time of the year, and introduce an element of what is available by different colonies.

I wonder if anyone thought about Solar Storms and the likes that can cause havoc with even our own terrestrial planet and our nearest star.
