So I was looking around, and I saw that there was a Download for an update. Does that mean we can download this game and test it or no?

That update is from ~may 2013, from the limit theory prototype.

No new LT after that.

So, basically he saw the download on the main page and assumed it was for the beta. I gave him "when it's due to be released"

I did skim past your answer however, and assumed you gave him info as when the last beta due date was occurring. (in my defense I had a screaming kid in my ear) For that I am sorry.
