Fascinating excerpt - thanks, Flat.
... kept a diary in penguin blood written in the margins of salvaged newspapers.
I see the Essex got a mention. In the Heart of the Sea is a pretty good read.

So sad the old map is gone.
You can add me at 49.014235, 8.404494
If possible, I'll have a pink marker.

Added you!

Unfortunately, there is no perfectly pink marker, but I chose the closest color to pink that there is. Odd that there is no option for custom colors... :problem:

I found a volcano for the Oolite map - which sits nicely atop Inaccessible Island's volcano - but alas, no pagoda.
The original Oolite map had a pagoda available, but not the newer one. <sobs>

Based on the info on the map, I've constructed this, to keep a track of who is when.
Custom colors, and updates to your timezone need me to manually edit a file, but that's limited effort.
It works on lat/long, using that to figure out your Timezone, and then renders the lot in this semi-pretty format.

It sorts based on who is furthest in time, and THEN by name (this is why Hema, Tal, and Zora are ordered by name)
