Hi, I have a question for Josh. I am still just loving the look of the game so far and am amazed at your determination for development for it and can not wait for the alpha. :D I think i saw you write you were going to do 11 hours of coding a day. Good luck but just don't burn your self out. Maybe that much every other day and on other just do 8 or so. Still a lot but a lot less. Anyway now to my question.

The videos you made for kick starter were so cool I just keep wanting for more. I am not demanding any but I am wondering if you will be making more to show us how it is going. Like one or two a month would be crazy cool.

Thanks for the kind words! I addressed your question in the last update: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/jos ... sts/376285.

The answer is yes, I am planning on doing monthly progress update videos!

That is much appreciated and although I am having trouble keeping up with the forum posts as there are so many I do at least read your development logs which I find really interesting :)

Thanks Jason, glad you like them :) Yes, even I am overwhelmed by the amount of content on the forums already! But this can only be a good thing :D

+1

Really enjoying the dev logs and really like the break down of time spent on the different tasks. The "internet" item is one that has confused a lot of my employers in the past... but I feel really strongly that a large part of a developers work is often spent in researching various methodologies, practices and technologies to ensure that coding quality and efficiency is kept to the maximum. I guess employers have wanted me to just "know" everything. Why would I want to spend countless hours stuffing information into my brain, when I could rather use google to pull up the information and use my brain to rather apply it, instead of memorizing it... but a handy side-effect of continuous information application is that you end up memorizing big chunks of it anyway!

Anyways, will be following the dev logs with huge interest... all the best to you Josh!
