I've been thinking about this one for a while but would it be possible to demand things of the AI by either bribing, threatening or promising them something?
To clarify;
Let's say that you're a small pirate faction with one star system under control.
You're in need of hull plating to complete a new ship built from a freshly stolen blueprint.
For some reason all the black markets surrounding your system are out of hull plates and you can't produce them yourself because you don't have the resources and don't have the credits to get a manufacturing plant.
You've heard a rumor from an NPC that there will be a shipment of hull plating arriving soon at a trading outpost in a nearby system, now you could go there and talk to the trading manager.
This could be an example of the interface.
Demand>information>civillian information>expected trade convoys
What do you guys think about it?

Re: Making Demands of the AI
Or just make a 'casual' contract. My system doesn't really work for contracts.
Contract is "You do that, you get this." Bribing would go "You DON'T do that, you get this" and threats "You do that, OR you get this".
Short: integrate this with the contract system, not my communication system.
