That would be an epic game! You get JUST the node, and you have to research different parts of the game, like a meta game, and then as you do, you unlock more nodes that eventually becomes the game.

This could also be how AI works on an individual and corporate level. Exploration and discoveries activate modules of code (nodes) to the tree.

Expansions to the game could inject new code modules.
