Bad news: It's an online survival RPG.

Sorry, Victor: still no sign of the new TES game we're all waiting for....
We don't know that.
I'd consider that a positive.Flatfingers wrote: ↑Wed May 30, 2018 3:43 pmSorry, Victor: still no sign of the new TES game we're all waiting for....
Beyond Skyrim is more TES though - and at a higher general quality than the original. The artwork and quests are outstanding.
I don't have to tell you of my total lack of interest in this game, Flat.Flatfingers wrote: ↑Wed May 30, 2018 3:43 pmGood news: Bethesda has dropped a teaser trailer for their new game, Fallout 76.![]()

The source of the Rumor is a 4chan post by an Anon 29th December 2017, stating the name, and that it'll be a Rust clone.Flatfingers wrote: ↑Wed May 30, 2018 4:11 pmSo far the other sites are quoting Kotaku on this, so there's just the one source. I agree it's reasonable to be more tentative than I was in my original post until/unless this claim is corroborated.
Presumably that'll be part of the E3 2018 announcement.

One of the artists on Fallout is reassuring us that is *ISN'T* the direction the rumors are suggesting.
Silverware wrote: ↑Wed May 30, 2018 5:47 pmAlso of note: The biggest argument against it being online? Bethesda knows they would have to patch an online game.![]()
Actually if it goes by the current trends, it'll be a Battle Royale game... ugh...
Ah, but Zenimax Online are not mentioned anywhere in their video, just Bethesda Game Studios, the only online game any of their team worked on was Battleborn, which was stillborn.Flatfingers wrote: ↑Fri Jun 01, 2018 3:54 amWhat, you mean like Elder Scrolls Online, managed by BethSoft's Zenimax sister company? The existence of ESO suggests to me that they wouldn't hate having an online game set in the world of Bethesda's other major franchise.
Again, though, June 10 should clear up most of this. (I hope.)
