They have a REALLY cool demo too, that already works on linux. What little I played, I enjoyed it.

Looks like Reassembly. And that's a good thing! Reassembly is awesome.

Tink. Fuck. Shit. Tink.

On another note, the building system has a lot of work that needs to be done... turning things is monstrous!

Yeah, and I don't like that apparently the whole ship blows up as one piece.

Thats the root part dying, and all it's children being killed off thanks to that
Using parenting is critical here thanks to that.

Also since each part can only be a little distant from it's parent, its important for larger ships.

How is this done? I didn't see anything for it in the tutorial.

(never thought I'd ask Silver for parenting advice :ghost: )

Huh, not sure how you missed it, it's a popup which consists of 4 pages when you first try to edit a drone. Basically, just hover a piece over an existing piece then release to link it.

Kickstarterrrrrrrrrrrrr!

There's a tier there that offers Reassembly and Avorion CD keys  Admittedly, I already own them, but that's a cracking deal.

Pick a piece up, drop it on another piece (the cursor will be a chain link when you can do this), this will move the blue circle to center on that part.
That part will be the center of this things rotation and position, so if you move/rotate it, the child will move too.
Chaining MANY parts makes for quite flexible links, useful for making bouncy stuff :3

Reminds me more of Istrolid than Reassembly (I guess just because of the art style). Looks super rad! I'm going to try out the demo later.
