For the TL;DR;...
Endless Space® - Collection is everything Endless Space 1 (base game + DLCs).
To claim the package, you:
1. Register an account on https://www.games2gether.com/
2. Link your Games2Gether account with your Steam account
3. Redeem your game on Steam
4. The game appears pretty much immediately in your Steam library

A note on point 3:
You redeem your game not through a Steam-Key. Instead, after you successfully link your Steam and Games2Gether accounts, you get a button (in your User profile page on the Games2Gether website) which redeems the game for you. I have done this procedure minutes ago, and I can confirm that it works as advertized no-strings-attached. The game enters your Steam library and Steam remains the one and only DRM you have to deal with. This promotion should stay valid for another 6 (six) days or so

A way to quickly find the banner of this promotion is to head to https://www.games2gether.com/ then look in the upper right corner of your screen.
You will see a PRESENT icon to the immediate left of the LOGIN and REGISTER buttons.
Click the PRESENT icon and the banner will reveal. You can start creating your Games2Gether account from there.
