Back in the 8-bit days of original Elite on the BBC Micro, many of us reached the dilemma of "what do I do now I've got to Elite?"
Well, one of the solutions was to try the new cyberpunky 3D game, Cholo. This was back when the ink was barely dry on Neuromancer and Shodan was most of a decade from making her first apperarance.
Cholo had the same wireframe 3D graphics as Elite, but was set in a strange city with hostile robots and terminals that could be hacked to come under the player's control.
Just in case you don't have a BBC micro to play it in its full 6502 monochrome, wireframe glory, there's a nice polygon-based PC remake you can try, and here's a gameplay video too.
