Wellp, the prototype is awesome

Even though it's a tiny slice of what the full game will be, I have high hopes for EVERSPACE 2

For those of you who didn't like the fact EVERSPACE 1 was a roguelike, you'll probably enjoy this more!

I'm really excited about this I didn't mind the roguelike so much, but I didn't like the sequential areas. It felt too linear, and there wasn't much point in choosing between areas even when the paths diverged because you always ended up at the same place anyway.

Heheh, it's the journey, not the destination

I found the ability to choose was good - at later levels you'd have a vague idea of what you'd be facing and the difficulty, plus if any characters were in that area. I'd usually avoid environmental hazards if I could, simply because they were a pain in the backside.

Backers got the Early Access release a few days early, so I'm having a tinker and... Yup... It's awesome EA comes along on Monday and there's a demo on Steam for those who aren't sure.

Yah, I think it's allowed! I'm pretty sure there's alpha and closed beta stuff already on Youtube, so go have a look
