I'm not sure what to say, but that video had me in stitches. I think I might back it, could be good fun.

Re: STRAFE®
Has to be one of the best game trailers ever... if it's legitimate. Even if it's not, still a great trailer.

Heh?
It's good to know they put all their pre-kickstarter funds and effort into a trailer....
Mind you I enjoyed it. Certainly not funding them.

Re: STRAFE®
Beneath the overhyped sales pitch there does seem to be potential for some of the brutal, mindless gameplay factor that DOOM was famous for. They should've shown more gameplay, though.

Bah. Actually looks like fun... but I'm getting too old for this ****. =P
I used to be good at FPS. Some 20 years ago? =)

Re: STRAFE®
I'm done with my DOOM obsession phase. I still have my original shareware version in the flimsy cardboard box and I did purchase Painkiller from GOG recently but it only confirmed that I've moved on.
It does look like it could could be fun for anyone who feels the need for another gore fest though.

There is Bulletstorm to fill that craving.
I played it but quit I dunno how far into it. By then I had seen it all.

I hope for the sake of the English speakers that no one decides (for whatever bizarre reason) to release anything called "sympathisch"

Re: STRAFE®
Poorly formed thought- It just occurred to me that one day someone's going to name a game which will have a totally irrelevant meaning in another language, if it hasn't already happened this one worked out great though, as you point out.
My example was just an allusion to a false friend - everyone I know including myself, when learning German, initially thought 'sympathisch' meant 'sympathetic', which it most certainly does not!
