But they did! Titan was supposed to be an MMO. Overwatch was what they scavenged from it when they decided it wasn't good.

Yeah well, but a lot of people supposed that Titan would be an FPS with MMORPG elements in it. So there you go. Blizzard always play safe...

If you look back at the history of Battle.net since its release with Diablo, you could be forgiven for thinking that every single business decision Blizzard has made since then has been about selling Battle.net. It's as though the games themselves are almost irrelevant; they're just a necessary requirement to keep people using Battle.net.

It's weird, but it makes an odd kind of sense.

Mmmmm.... but Battle.net generates no income itself, isn't it? They have no ads or something to earn money with it, only through subscriptions. And if the games are better they should have more subscriptors/players...

To me, it looks like Overwatch is going to be a combination of TF2 and G.I. Joe.

Though it looks cool I have no interest in this game..looks great but frankly I'm too old for this shit..cannot compete with little kids in FPS no more at the dinosaur age of 36..so I switched to Sims..more relaxing and more brain usage hehe..well Sims and WoW cause well ...old habits die hard.

Ohh by Sims I mean simulators like elite and limit theory and such not Sims the game...lol

Ain't my cup of tea either... but mixing Pixar-like 3D models with a somewhat-different approach to Co-op FPS madness isn't half bad. It's like MOBA meets FPS with some help from Pixar... shaken, not stirred, if you please.

Milking WoW some years more was too tempting I suppose...

We'll see if project Titan returns in the future

At this point, I'm of the opinion that Blizzard should throw their hands up, stop making a game, and make this an actual show. Or a movie.
