Does anyone around here play Frozen Synapse? If you do, I'd love to play a game or two some time.
If you don't... I really recommend you check it out. It's an awesome game, and it has procedurally generated maps.
Here's totalbiscuit giving an overview on what it is about:

Also... My god the soundtrack. It's amazing.

Re: Frozen Synapse (another procedural gem)
This game doesn't "speak" to me.
The combat system is much the same as in Flotilla (which I just saw to be currently on sale) but somehow I can't find the fun in FZ.

There is no "I" in Tea. That would be gross.

Re: Frozen Synapse (another procedural gem)
It's a really brainy game, so I understand "fun" is not necessarily the first emotion that comes up when playing it.
What I like the most is the fairness. When I lose, it's not because of an exploit of a game mechanic I hadn't thought of, or more experience with the game mechanics, it's just good old being outsmarted. Everything that "pros" have done to win against me are things I could've thought of myself, but didn't.
I see it as a board game (I also happen to love the game of Go).
