Freelancer Ltheory server

#1
Hey folks, just set up a Freelancer server with the Discovery 4.87 mod, server is in testing mode so bear with me. There is a bit of a procedure to go through, I will detail it below.

Install the game and the Discovery mod
Install the game and after that, install the discovery mod found here.

Make a user account and key
The game will ask for a key when you start up the multiplayer part of the game. This is possible to fix with a keygen, found here.
Generate a key and save the .ADF file somewhere you will remember.

Download the Freelancer account manager here and install. Start the program with administrative rights and press F8. Navigate to the .ADF file you saved in the previous step and open it. That should do it!

Connect to the server through the shortcut
You will need to find a Discovery mod shortcut (found in your start menu, probably), right click on it, go to properties and add this after the path in the "target" box: -s94.226.237.49:2302 .
The final target will look like this: "C:\Users\YOURNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Discovery Freelancer 4.87.0\EXE\Freelancer.exe" -s94.226.237.49:2302
It could be in a different folder, just leave that path and just add -s94.226.237.49:2302 to it. Then use that shortcut to fire up the server.
Make sure that your game does not get minimized before you connect to the server!

To find the server, after firing up the Discovery mod, go to multiplayer and connect to "Ltheory's Freelancer server".
It will ask for a password, just click on the spoiler thingy below here and you'll see :)

This server is still in TEST mode. Probably won't lose your stuff, but shit hits the fan sometimes. Daily server restart at 7 AM GMT+2.

Have fun and let me know here when you make it or when it doesn't work :).
