Heartening to hear, somehow, Cornflakes though I suspect the latest CoD took some key ideas from Titanfall, I'm all for innovation! The CoD games have never been bad, they've just not been innovative at all since MW1.

So, Frontiers is available on steam now. Anyone already played it? What's the impression?

I received my two emails from Lars and I was tempted to try the Early Access version but the bearded wonder has pointed out that many of the rewards are missing and it's going to be a bit buggy so I think I will pass and wait for the finished game. I don't want to spoil my experience.

It's tough being an innkeeper.

Frontiers is doing enough different and interesting things that I think I will give the early version a try.

Once I can get to my Real Computer late tonight, that is. I don't think he has a mobile version written yet.

Would love to know what you think, Flat. A review from you on the Early Access version would be very much appreciated.

You timed that well Elite Dangerous launches not so bad I was in that Gamma/Beta anyway and I also get to try early access for Frontiers on same day .

Mind u played neither as I was a bit knackered from work will try Lars premature baby after some more Western capitalist drudgery to earn some wonga so in about 12 hours then.

I backed this game.. So I do have a copy.. just haven't had a chance to play it since the pre-Steam versions.. I'll see if I can muster up some time in the next day or two to play it and give an early impression of the game as it stands in Steam EA.

Your experiences of the game would also be welcome, darker and light487.

I've known you long enough through the forums to get a good idea of how well Lars&Co have done in their efforts to give us something a bit different by what you have to say.

I'll make myself comfortable. This is exactly what I was looking for. Lars is a lucky man, to have this type of feedback on his game.

Anyone that is playing it care to share some pics, opinions etc. I want to give it a try but I am undecided.

I got some time into it last night before it crashed. (Definitely an early build.)

To be fair to it, I'd like to play some more before rendering any impressions.

And while I won't be getting any schematics, I did sign on for LT beta access. Assuming Josh still lets me anywhere near LT, I'm really looking forward to that, and of course to hearing what others think.
