The clone would have a mind of its own I would hope, Cornflakes, and although we know what plans the original has for the idea I would hope the clone would be more interested in a standalone MorrowJosh And have little or preferably no interest in space games. It's only Josh Parnell's experiences in life that have given him the deep seated need to make a space game.

Of course, there's no way of knowing if the clone would choose to be a games developer ...which would render the whole idea moot. ;)

And anyway the original hasn't promised he will deliver, merely that he hasn't dismissed the idea. He talked of "MorrowJosh will be a part of LT at some point. Maybe 3.0.", not even SOONISH. Good grief, I may have slipped into an interstitial world inhabited by My Little Pony characters by the time that happens. :P

Frankly I couldn't tell if it was heaven, hell, or purgatory  :ghost: But surely your deeds warrant admittance to the former, wherein MorrowJosh and all the space goodness that you can possibly imagine is already released (and Elite Dangerous has a single player mode  !)

Dropping a few favorites. Definitely not as pretty as some of the top-notch MGE setups, but I was going for my own toned-down version with a dark shader vibe. Using similar color grading, vignetting, and dark blooming as LT -- totally custom MGE shader chain (aptly-named "JoshWind") :D Was going to go further with it but finally they got my brain fixed to the point where I could touch LT-related code again :P
Again, Josh, is that an otherwise unmodified Morrowind installation with only shaders added, or did you add other assets as well?

:D I hope you're right, Josh, although if DB is there you can be sure he will be demanding that Elite Dangerous requires a heavenly fibre optic connection if you want to play the game. (Remember we already have his version of a single player ED).

@Netzbummler: my setup is very simple. The only mods I have to change the graphics are the compilation MGC 3.0 Final (a compilation of a lot of mods with a comprehensive installer that do a lot of things without any mod manager whatsoever), and Skies IV for the superb clouds. Then I have some new lands mods, especially Tamriel Rebuilt (I haven't activated the alpha part yet, but it's already there), and some usefull mods (better signs, better texts, accurate attack, etc). Later I can edit this post with a complete list, if you want. Oh, and that farming mod from some guy called Josh can't miss the collection :)

Today my day started early. I wanted to escort an NPC to Molag Mar. Forward to the unknown! My first impressions on a more rocky surroundings were nice, until the cliff racers decided to make our journey interesting :) Molag Amur is nothing like the Ascadian Isles, of course. Grey and desolate as far as the eye can reach. We wandered on around Marandus but, since time was of the essence, we pressed to the northeast, towards higher ground and.... my first ash storm! :ghost:

It's basically just MGSO 3 with my personal preferences set when it comes to texture packs & flora additions. I then tweaked my Morrowind Graphics Extender (MGE) setup to death until I was satisfied (including writing the shader chain).

So it's relatively simple, but MGSO3 is definitely my go-to for asset overhaul, as it's just so darn simple to install, rather than downloading a million different mods / texture packs.
