The limerick challenge

#1
There is this guy called Josh
Who gathered a lot of dosh
The simple trick is, he wrote
just ripping out code
on PC or Macintosh

Feel free to add a limerick of your own but the challenge is, it must be Limit Theory related.
Have fun!!

Freelancer was a space sim game
That acquired a whole lot of fame,
But Microsoft quit and fans through a fit
And only a static universe remained.

Then along came this guy with a scheme
With skills and a whole lot of steam
He'd make a new game, "different but same"
And make all us fanboi's scream
An eye for an eye and the world goes blind, but in the land of the blind the one eyed man is KING!

...now the only thing we're missing is a scalar field / exponential falloff limerick...

With procedural generation in his head
And math skills alive and not dead
He used scalar fields, some kind of exponential deals
....Man I dunno what the f**k he said

Fantastic!!

Hmm...let me think.
About that last dev log then, here goes:

When you're ripping out code left and right
and the future seems sunny and bright
then it's "buyer beware"
laptops easily scare
all that ripping will set them alight.

Sure, Gazz, everyone knows that. :D

Which reminds me of a peculiar gravestone around here somewhere.
crudely translated it goes like this;

Here lies the poet Jonathan Hume.
He had but one fault: he couldn't rhume.

Math is a wonderfull thing
with all kinds of joy it can bring
it makes scalar fields
and also it yields
a universe of "No Limithing"

One about those nice "spacelanes" Josh built for us.

When you're lost in space without clue
your bearing is gone through and true
up ahead looms a highway
what a sight for a sore eye
just be sure to dodge red and take blue

About the dev log of monday june 3th:

Creating space can be fun
...building a planet or sun
but black holes will sprout
when ripping more code out
than with what you began
