A hull-mounted 40 mm grenade launcher:
You know this launcher is for smoke grenades, eh? :eh:
A short gun barrel sticking the right frontal part of the hull is an automatic grenade launcher. Basically, a machine gun that uses small grenades instead of bullets. Basically, something like that thing: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AGS-17. The technical description said the one on the AFV was 40 mm calibre, though, so I am a bit at loss about it. Might be a mistake in the description - in fact, that's the most likely. The barrel looks too small to be 40 mm.

Oh, THAT thing! Yeah, dunno what that is. I was a little confused because normally picture descriptions are underneath the pictures, not above. :ghost:

Evolution of Soviet armour, missing links not included :D :

From left to right: T-34-85, T-54, T-72AV.
So, going up in effectiveness - boom boom armor, more effective curvy T-54 armor, and finally, the most effective, curvy stalinium T-34 armor?

Clearly the key to armor here is the % stalinium and amount of curvature.
