Dropping in some post-processing effects (AA,Bloom,Ambient Occlusion), and a better planet surface:
Making the "sky-box" was easy, its basically just a little java program making a texture with a lot of random dots
Runs ok in the browser, but I have to cut back on the detail a bit still...
