Things That Made You Happy Today

Just what it sounds like.

Things That Made You Happy Today

Postby Talvieno » Wed May 20, 2015 3:47 pm

I know we have a negative thread (RANDOM RAGE THREAD, I'm looking at you), but how about a positive one? We could use some more positivity around here. This thread is for things that made you happy today (whichever day "today" happens to be).

I for one am happy at the moment because I looked at the index page just now and there were no less than 17 registered users online. That's the most I've seen in a while. :)

Feel free to share, relate, congratulate or brag away at random. :)

I managed to beat my pre-examined anxiety by making a nice order schedule and finding out that I have 8 days for each exam, which is more than I normally have. :D

I resisted the temptation to hit anyone with a shovel. Which is quite the achievement.

I finally managed to track down a replacement part for my Sideshow Psylocke Comiquette. It arrived today. :D

I changed the background color of the scroll bars in Star Ruler; making the actual bar easier to see.

Nintendo of America Hires Bowser as New VP of Sales

Made me smile, at least.

Also defeated another one of Unity's restrictions/oversights. I swear that makes up most of my work in Unity.

well I can see what she means, with a fro like that anyone would be lucky! :P
I guess it is my turn, I spent a good amount of time with a really good friend practicing ACSL problems, it was fun, sometimes we got off topic, but most of the time it was me helping her with the problems, and helping people always makes me feel good :D

I fixed two bicycles today and learned how to install some parts.

I optimized the slowest part of my code, replaced the initial dark background with true background replacement code, and built the basic tech to do animation in HTML5.

And Charley's day beats mine all to flinders. :)

Also, nicely done, Talvieno.

I spoke with my developer today and I should have a web only version of an app I'm going to build (and fund via a kickstarter hopefully) and I'm really happy because a couple months ago this wasn't even a possibility (having actual working code in hand before running the KS).

I dunno, coding is probably gonna pay off more in the long term. Unless this girl sticks around
