Re: The 'What are you reading?' thread!

I've got me a pristine copy of Gun Machine by Warren Ellis just waiting for reading.

Also have been on-and-off reading The Years' Best Science Fiction, 21st Annual Collection. Some of the stories are great ideas that are cut short, others need more work and have a universe laid out long before the story put in the collection (and thus the reader is like 'WTF? Who are these people, and their relationship, am I supposed to know all about the shit they're talking about??').

There is one that is particularly short, to-the-point, and comes full circle. It's maybe 15 pages long.

I recently read and finished the Blue Ant trilogy (Pattern Recognition, Spook Country, and Zero History) by William Gibson, and while I am not sure what to think of it, it wasn't as awesome as some reviews have said. They are very tangentially connected across all three books.

Probably some others, but it's 1AM here.....I'll come back later!
