I kind of like Beautiful Things.
Didn't care much for the other one, but Beautiful Things is great.

and a rare e30m post (and not just one, but two!).
Personally I've been listening to a lot of chillstep lately. I doubt either of you guys would like that much, unfortunately.
Actually Tal, I do. That's typically what I listen to while at work. Also, epic music. Check out "Pandora Journey" channel on youtube for some pretty good epic mixes. Ivan Torrent, Audiomachine and Two Steps from Hell make some really good tracks. It's probably best described as cinematic... Tons of great music in this genre.
For chillstep I normally just listen to Arctic Empire, Lunacy Chillout, and MrSuicideSheep mixes from youtube. I always have trouble keeping track of the many electronica artists out there. So many good ones.
I discovered Arctic Empire a few years ago.
Been listening to his stuff ever since. He got featured in YouTube somewhere at some point and his userbase exploded practically overnight. Felt pretty awesome to watch that.
I typically listen to epic music only when I'm writing... chillstep or drum&bass depending on what I'm coding.
I'll probably be posting more. Not much else to do on the forums until news breaks. I'm also getting pretty tired of dealing with the typical toxicity of the other forums I used to frequent. This place has some of the most tolerant and laid back people I've ever come across on the great wide interwebs. I may not have much to contribute to the coding or heavy science discussions but I'll be around. I've got a new milling machine coming in on Monday so I might do an uncrating and assembly post.. Maybe some machining projects for the hobby thread. I'm glad it's getting a little more lively around here.
I'm glad you like it here, e30m.
We're a pretty friendly bunch - or we try to be - especially if you stay out of the unhappiness thread. Hopefully that'll melt away after Josh keeps posting for a while, though.
