I just found it particularly interesting and thought I ought to share.

Interesting panel with scientists about the question "are we all part of a simulation".
Its less chessy than it sounds at first, and goes into some interesting scientific topics.
Shoo, ya bots. Go away Bing, no one likes you. And I don't trust you Google bot. Imma keep an eye on you!

Here's a Youtube video that I just watched found extremely chilling: How Big do Tornadoes Get?
When I was a kid, I was very terrified of tornadoes.
I remember becoming hysterical and inconsolable a few times when I saw the sky turn green, which I had learned was a sign of a possible tornado.
A friend of mine recently drove through one that touched down roughly 6 km west of where I live, but wasn't very strong (by tornado standards) and didn't end up doing much damage.
He described the horrible sensation of the wind starting to pick up and shove his truck. He gunned it and made it home unscathed.
He what? He shot the tornado and then went home? Damn son...

I've always found tornadoes (and natural disasters of any kind) fascinating, ever since I was little. Not exactly sure what sparked that fascination, but I've never seen a green sky before. Yellow, yes - but not green.
