Hey stupid question,
How do you procedurally generate dust in games in an efficient manner, in a resource efficient way.
I'm currently developing for 2D, in Lua using Corona, but any example or links would be great to point me in the right type of technology.
Thanks
James

Re: Question - How do you procedurally generate dust in game
Not exactly sure what you mean. Generally dust/fog just means that you take the distance to your object, then you blend your object's color with the dust color depending on distance. This gives the impression of fog/dust. Of course, for LT it is more complicated than that, but the underlying idea is the same! Not really procedural, per se.
Did I get the question right?

Nope but it's only because I didn't explain my confusion well enough.
Can I close this thread, as am currently not able to articulate my question, so way off the point of talking about it!
