Yes, I did get the update, Lum, but I didn't post anything here because it didn't seem it would be of interest to anyone but a select few of us who still care enough to visit the KS site for sparse information about progress. I've stopped commenting but some of the diehards are still persevering.

It may be some time before we get some really substantial news from JS but at least it proves he hasn't forgotten us entirely.

I get updates over FB and then go to the KS web if something interesting happens... I'm still looking forward to this album and I'm sure Mr. Soule will deliver a superb product. In the communication department he isn't the best, but well... *shrugs*

I'm still interested to get this if it gets sold to non-backers when it eventually comes out...

You don't have to worry on that score, Dinosawer, it's only certain rewards which will be exclusive.

Good to receive this news from Aaron Dunn (Creator) on the "Set Chopin Free" project:

"Long overdue update!

We've reached the homestretch, and there are only some 30 pieces left for us to meet our goal of setting Chopin's music free."

If only JS would post something worth reading on the progress of The Northerner.

Not much to say on the progress made by Jeremy Soule when it comes to his masterpiece, The Northerner. Actually. there isn't any progress being reported apart from the refund of payments to backers at a now alarming rate. I still consider you to be a genius as a composer, Jeremy, but the way you have dealt with your KS backers has been nothing short of disgusting.

No refund for me, I'd prefer to stick this one out until the bitter end....and boy is it getting bitter now.

That's very sad. I liked Jeremy. Or, rather, I like his music. It's disgraceful that he's treating his loyal fans in such a manner.

Yeah, no updat since september 2016 is ridiculous.
(The one from february 2017 is fake - a fan made up the post they wanted to see and a PR person misunderstood that post for real and copied it to the KS despite it being fake, and never took it down)

Yes, I was aware of its promised arrival, Dino. Once again the announcement was made on his Facebook page and not on Kickstarter where those fans who were prepared to fund him those long years ago can be found... that should probably read those fans who haven't thrown in the towel and demanded refunds can be found.

I haven't seen my code yet but I'm hoping to receive it soon.

And there's that dreaded word "soon" again. *chuckle*

And still no code for the Northerner Diaries download.

I'm beginning to wonder if Jeremy has been reading the stuff I write here.
