Personally, this is why I'm against it; the modding community does not in general do this, and people have come to expect it. People love moddability in a game because it essentially allows free variation from the vanilla version. Changing the norm to paid-for mods destroys that expectation, turnin...

Would be a rather cool idea for a mod though, NPC's speaking in their own language and having their own writing on their ships.

Game informer has done a quite interesting review/demonstration with one of the devs.
Quite long, but interesting stuff (also PG-related) in it.
They're also doing some convention thing later today so I expect more news to be released soonish.
