The quick save is definitely corrupt. I can't load it, always crashes. But a save I made about 10 seconds earlier loads fine...

I quick saved really REALLY quickly after undocking. Maybe something wasn't initialized properly when it saved?

I didn't see anything on this in any of the forums, and it's not listed as a current bug.

haha, YES. I did that. And ran into a few things too. Just so cool. This is feeling epic.

- CTRL+S to quick save. Don't think there's a save option other than this. Load from main menu - Upgrade hardpoints? Well you can put armor and shield on. But hardpoints seem to be set (2 armor slots, 1 shield slot, 4 weapon on first ship). buy a better ship for more pew pew! - If you buy a new ship...

Yup, tutorial video is very helpful. Undock and fly around. And as No Potential stated above me, you don't have any weapons to start, so before picking a mission you should buy stuff. Took me a few minutes, but it's very easy to use once you get the hang of it. Ctrl+s saves. Use that before you undo...
