Nobody put up a size limitation - there is no stopping it from being a 50MB package.

Also as this is a free version it could be 96Kbit AAC audio, and he could generate most of the textures as I'm sure he is already :)

That being said - you should consider making a slimmed down version of the final LT for Linux that can be distributed freely, could be a 'flagship' Linux game bundled in many distributions :) LT is already slim at 3MB! How much more slimming down do you want? I didn't mention size but feature wise ...

LT Benchmark

Now that you have your LTSL running could you build a fixed space combat that can be used for CPU/GPU benchmarking across platforms? You could even release it sooner than the final product to drum up additional interest and it could be used to prepare compatibility outside Windows/Linux - FreeBSD/PC...
