Re: Skyrim

I like to play many games as if they were a movie and I was playing/acting the role of the main character.. interactive movie. So in some ways I sit back back and enjoy it as an observer and in other ways I put myself in the game. With Skyrim in particular I found myself playing more objectively (ob...

Re: Frontiers (The pretender to Daggerfall/Morrowind)?

The fact that he's been able to accomplish what he has already with such a constrictive tool as Unity is, is pretty amazing. It's horror stories like Lars' development and that of other games using Unity that makes me extremely thankful that Josh was able to create his own engine to suit the task.

Re: S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

I've tried playing STALKER a bunch of times.. even the most recent one.. but I've never really been able to get into it that much.. I'm not sure why. The game is one of the most immersive, creative, challenging etc etc etc games ever.. but I've just not been able to get hooked. Oh well.. can't enjoy...

Re: No Man's Sky

Sean Murray has stated in multiple interviews that they would like to keep adding things to the game after release. So an enhanced PC version is very much possible. Considering that I've seen multiple Indie studios come up with better versions of their games on PC after a console release, lets keep...

Re: Dragon Age: Inquisition

Well, apparently my copy of DA:O was actually on PS3. I do still have it and the PS3.. but I prefer to play games on PC these days. Re: Elite Dangerous

I've pretty much moved on to other games now. ED is a complete waste of my time and effort at the moment. Hopefully the situation will improve but I doubt it will happen any time before 6 months from now, when the game should have been held back till. I am someone with a limited amount of time and q...

Re: Elite Dangerous

I agree on both counts: DDF and Single Player Offline. When I look at some of the awesome, fleshed out design ideas in DDF, I have to scratch my head and wonder why not even a small amount of those ideas are in the game at launch. There's a game, called Hardwar, that was a TINY gamespace but was so ...

Re: Elite Dangerous

Don't you think passed and actual space sim games like ED are really reallistic with the technologies we already get ? A few examples : - No internet ! you can't get prices and missions of others stations ! It should be so easy even nowadays to make a broadcast af all informations within a solar sy...

Re: Elite Dangerous

I just flew myself to Sol from the founder area.. wasn't a bad trip.. route planning is definitely a good thing, though it should have been in from the beginning. Fuel scooping is so slow with the cheap scoops but it's free and fuel is so darn expensive in the early game. I did find some of those ra...

Re: Elite Dangerous

Exploration data times out? The hell? :wtf: Never knew that either.. then again there are a shit tonne of things I never knew that I really should have been taught by the game upfront.. The more I play, the more gaps I uncover rather than fill with my imagination.. the more I explore, the more I fi...
