Re: What about civilians?

Super class - extremely rich - may own multiple planets - may own lower class slaves on planets - travel in private spaceships/fancy cruise liners (both would be well armed against pirates) - would have their own private army to protect them as they go through space This one is me once LT comes out...

Re: Fallout 4

Well then, blame Flat and Lum - they said sales. :P
Massive regardless.

Edit: They have redacted those statements. However, I am very bad at going with the crowd, so for the sake of stubbornness I will continue to say "sales." :ghost:
Spoiler:      SHOW
Actually, I won't.

Re: Fallout 4

TWELVE MILLION IN ONE DAY??????? :o :o :o       This game must be horrifyingly good to have that many sales so fast. I wish I could try it, but my dad won't let me play M-rated games. I must study their methods to duplicate their success... :ghost:  --I...

Re: That new computer feeling - Dead component Drama

Okay, it seems to have been fixed. :D The culprit seems to not have been the motherboard after all; after updating the BIOS the blue screen events continued, but were linked to the wireless adapter drivers. We tried installing various drivers with no luck. So my brother got his adapter, and we plugg...

Re: That new computer feeling - Dead component Drama

I just recovered from problems too - the last week I've been getting blue screens of death every 15 minutes when playing E: D, graphics driver crashes when playing Anno 2070, and black flickering artefacts on Anno and War Thunder. Not to mention random reboots every couple weeks. The graphics issues...

Re: Freespace 2

That would imply that the Freespace games are better than Limit Theory, an idea my brain cannot cope with. There is no reason whatsoever to ruin LT with mod conversions to lesser games. :ghost: --IronDuke errr....? :eh: it just implies that the freespace iterations we have are worse than what we co...

Re: Freespace 2

Is it a worthwhile purchase over Freespace? The appropriate response is to buy both of them. :squirrel: This. A thousand times this. The series bundle is under $7, for Pete's sake! Get them both! :P I have both from gog and they're both absolute blasts. Still not as fun as I-war2, but nevertheless,...

Re: Void Destroyer is here! (Space Sim Kickstarter)

It was pretty neat, but makes fighters pointless if they can aim those beams at all. :V Which is where the below comes into it. Silverware wrote: 2) Are big ships inherently weak against fighter sized craft? The only reason this should happen is gameplay, to make sure players keep fighters around t...

Re: Beta Plan

Once when I was younger a guy I met online (he was 1-2 years older than I was) bought me a copy of Minecraft when I had no means of buying it because I was like 10 or something. Blame him, because he kind of gave me a taste of the effect generosity can have on people. Hah, nothing to blame him for!...

Re: Beta Plan

I'm in high school. I don't have a job of any kind, and don't get an allowance. The only way I can make any money is with "money chores." There's a list of chores we are required to do, and a list of optional ones that actually have pay. It's pittance (a dollar for mowing the lawn! Woohoo! )...

Re: Beta Plan

Dude, you must be really down in the dumps if you can't afford $20 - 30 for LT in 6 months. Sorry to hear that. :( I'm in high school. I don't have a job of any kind, and don't get an allowance.
