Eh. At the risk of sounding contrary, the Dwarf Fortress attempted monopoly on 'fun' gets a little tiresome - it's a bit insulting when being told that one's idea of fun in a game is somehow not complete or intense enough. As for me, DF got irritating really quickly >.> but to each their own etc

I think it's an interesting debate to try to specify what constitutes fun in a game.
