Re: Star Citizen

Yeah, Mobi Glass is looking really good. I do hope they reduce the arm movement when it's up though. I think it would get annoying, especially since I can hold my own arm up in the same position without feeling the need of moving it at all. I tried and my arm is moving like crazy. :o It could be ni...

Re: Star Citizen

I'm watching the last Around the Verse episode, and that mobiGlas gadget must be one of my favorites things about this game so far, alongside big scale moons and planets. Glad of the direction this game is taking. It's exceeding my expectations, as I knew it would.

Re: No Man's Sky

Yeah... or making the sentinels like this :ghost: :ghost: One of the best movie scenes ever. I watched it in a movie theater when I was a kid and it was terrifying. Nothing has been able to beat it since then. :) By the way, NMS it's like $16 on GoG right now, if anyone is interested. I have my quo...

Re: Star Citizen

It's really good to see your post, Etsu, and to know you are still out there. :D I'm not ready to be back on a regular basis but I'm still here, Victor. I need to take care of a few things first before being able to return properly. (Unrelated note: Every time I have to say or think the name 'Victo...

Re: Star Citizen

I have been away from Star Citizen (and from almost everything else really) for almost a year, and now I'm trying to catch up, with LT as well, and I must say that I'm impressed with the progress they have made. I hope to be ready for Alpha 3.0 when it comes up. I'm not yet there, but soon. ;)

Re: Before spaceships we need... rockets!

Yes. But then the tame is text only, and I don't want to use graphics of any kind. I tried ASCII, but I'm not good at it. The prologue of 'Man On The Moon' is almost completed. I think there are five different ways of complete just the prologue, and it may be more. (I mean narrative variations, not ...

Re: Before spaceships we need... rockets!

I don't know how to make any of that, Cornflakes. :( I would like to know how Graham Nelson made the jigsaw pieces in Jigsaw. That would be very good looking as a map I think. However, so far I'm doing fine making the text clear enough to give you an idea about where you are, for example changing th...

Re: Before spaceships we need... rockets!

So, I'm working on two games right now, one long and the other one short. (Theoretically, at least.) The first one is a fantasy game. It seems that this is not a genre that many fans of Interactive Fiction like, but whatever. It is called "The Cave", but it is not a cave exploration game. (I don't l...

Re: Before spaceships we need... rockets!

A small update, in case someone is listening. Since a few weeks back I have been trying Inform 7, a dedicated software to write interactive fiction. (It's the one that Emily Short and Andrew Plotkin use regularly, so it has to be good.) I love to learn new things, and this have been a lot of fun. I ...

Re: Before spaceships we need... rockets!

Thanks, guys. because the game knows purely from you saying "piggy bank" if you want to look at it, take it, break it or whatever you could want to do with it :P That could even be possible, giving the character a stronger agenda. You just 'interact' with objects and the character do the r...
