Re: [ FORUM UPDATE ] : Feedback, Known Issues, Etc.

You should include one of the standard fonts as a final fallback in each font-family style. I suggest sans-serif. e.g.: font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; Added to DevRavaio. Thanks Talvieno! I think you missed a couple, though? :) In /styles/devravaio/theme/stylesheet.css?assets_version=19 the ...

You should include one of the standard fonts as a final fallback in each font-family style. I suggest sans-serif. e.g.: font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; It would also be good if you weren't dependent on unicode glyphs for your icons -- most things are pretty mysterious when the font simply does...

honestly 10,000 missiles and 100,000 game objects may seem mind blowing but I honestly believe that that number, isn't that much you should strive for hundreds of thousands of game objects if not millions of game objects, this game is truly a procedural game so these numbers are a drop in a bucket....

That's the most exciting LT dev log in literal years. For the new team approach to have paid such dividends in such a short space of time, and to have finally settled the huge issue which has dogged development for so very long... my hat is off to you. I'm delighted to see things finally going well ...

An exponential scale would be needed to deal with anything from a piece of cargo to the most massive star. At minimum the display could be a s...

Thanks for elaborating on the JIT issues, Josh; I get the gist of the problem now! Also: you really do need to see the animation part. The beam basically decoheres and fades out over a second or two after it's fired. The noise effect becomes more obvious over the period. So one gets the impression o...

Upon finally having this option available to me, I was able to acquire detailed information about the JIT part of LuaJIT ... the short story is: LJ is currently helping me very little compared to what it could be doing ... Clearly, it is not nearly as 'flexible' as I had thought. There are certain ...

Did you other folks look closely at the beams? Look at the care that Josh put into them: they aren't just straight lines I noticed, and I appreciated that some work had gone into doing that, but I believe I would prefer them to be straight lines. The current effect makes the beams look... inefficie...
