where is a railgun different from any other cannon? you can build them in all kinds of sizes and fire rates, a lot like conventional, chemical, guns. I would say that in general a railgun refers to a kinetic weapon fired using a propulsion mechanism in the ship. This is different from a standard gu...

Before I start working on a python script that turns the 5 word story thread into a coherent (The use of that word is questionable) whole, I wanted to check whether anyone has made it before.
Right, I just opened it in a new tab and copied that link. I should have thought of that, thank you.
Whoops, I forgot to make it public. Now it's public so you should be able to see it if you go to the image. I don't know how to embed an Imgur photo. Any suggestions for where to put the photo so I can embed it?
I like this thread. This is of me recently, but it's cropped from a bigger family photo so the pixels are a little strange.Edit: Better pixels, though not good still.
Ok, I'll try both of those methods some time tomorrow. I'll probably end up going for the session idea, that seems simpler. I think I should give my script a name since most scripts seem to have names (Well in the LT realm anyways). I will think on this.
No problem! :) I finally decided to move it based on the fact that it's technically more about phpbb forums rather than anything exceptionally LT-specific. With a couple tweaks, it could work on essentially any forum. It's a nifty tool! Unfortunately, it's useless to me because I never have unread ...

So I have two big tests tomorrow, so procrastination kicked into overdrive, and I decided that I should definitely do some completely unrelated task. Say hello to my horribly hacked together python script that opens all the ne...
I think a better system than pips would be Percentage power of a system. So each subsystem has a maximum power capacity that can be given to it. In general the generator can only provide about 50% of the max power for all the subsystems at the same time. Then when you transfer power to or from a sub...

Happy birthday, Vector! :D And Victor, I don't think anybody holds it against you. :P I only just read this, thanks Tal, and Det. A little late I suppose. I am more amused than I should be at the fact that your post was the 666th post of this thread. Thankfully my birthday did not end in a terrible...
The only problem with this is that when you edit a poll it resets the votes. So the idea of doing it based on years is probably the best way to do it. I like the movie landmark ideas.
