Personally I ignore any "realism" aspect, and I just like aerodynamic-looking space fighters because I think they look cool. This x1000000000 Playability > realism Well, personally, I can't take a space-ship with wings seriously, but it does not make the game unplayable either. So, I guess, "get ri...

Jeez, can't blame Adam for not being Josh. I like this mini-update. To put the drama aside - I was actually wondering about the gameplay implementation. If I understand correctly, a lot of the gameplay will depend on the AI and the AI behavior. Now, I read some topics on the forum, the expectations ...
Right now I want some beer. But sure, remove it all, why not.
Haha, people are already asking for new features.... That's interesting, since (to beat the hype a little with a stick) we are not even at the critical "road-to-beta" point, where things may or may not start to fall apart.
Typically IT hires managers out of their technical staff, these technical staff tend to be introverts or otherwise socially stunted creatures, so promoting them to positions where they will manage people is just downright stupid. As an introvert and a socially stunted creature I need to mention her...

Freelancer would ask you for the original CD in your disc drive, which was probably the first version of DRM f...
Despite that being the only way to get ahold of Freelancer at the moment, I won't encourage pirating it either. It's actually possible to get a hard copy on amazon. Besides, JanB1, I'm sure the game has some copy protection, and removing this protection is an expensive crime in Germany. Just saying...
I don't know. Team management is a whole different topic and you need some experience in it. Especially if the team is not well paid but just works because of fun. We will see how it goes.S46 wrote:Awesome! LT will speed up massively now! Yes!
Just out of interest: if you had to identify 3 most basic/urgent features/mechanics to add to the demo next, wich 3 would it be?
Also: nice screenshots

I have to admit, I have no idea, what's going on anymore... We went back to C (wasn't the LT core in C or C++ anyways?) and added a new word "entity" to the whole thing and now it's 1000x faster than it was ever before? OK then... I guess, we will see...
