There is another option: editing the poll every year to new categories.
The only problem with this is that when you edit a poll it resets the votes. So the idea of doing it based on years is probably the best way to do it. I like the movie landmark ideas.

I think we should maybe redo this poll since it's been three years since it was done. I was reading through the old posts and was excited when I read that dino was 21. And then I realized that that was in 2014. Well anyways I'm just 21, so I make it into the "adult" category, yay for no fun and work!!

Looking over the suggested project interface, I would say that that is fairly intimidating for anyone not familiar with it. I think it's important to have fine control over individual projects and have an interface such as that available, but the card idea is a much better introductory game mechanic...
